Because you are not among the 8.7 million species omitted from all social morality. By law, animals are property. By Judeo-Christian ethic, animals exist for human use. It's hard to fight for absolute compassion in a world that doesn't see animals as individuals. Advocacy would be a cinch if based on one point: Animals don't exist for us to use them... ►
