Kinship Circle

KC-DART — We are an nonprofit Disaster Animal Response Team, activated by request when primary resources are depleted. Kinship Circle works in agreement with officials and nonprofits to offer skill, stamina and leadership — in a spirit of cooperation that best serves animals.

Kinship Circle responders reflect a wide range of training and certification in areas such as: search-rescue, field strategy, veterinary care, crisis sheltering, water/boat rescue, firefighter skills, large animal rescue, technical rescue, food/water (shelter-in-place) distribution, and more specialized abilities. We deploy overseas and in the United States for animal rescue and aid after disaster strikes. Follow us on Facebook to stay current with Disaster Watch and Deployment News as it unfolds. If you are interested in volunteer work as an animal disaster responder, register on our KC-DART list so we have you on standby to contact (deployment is based upon your availability). And please consider a tax-deductible donation to our Animal Disaster Fund, so we are always ready to go — whenever and wherever animals need help. Your kind heart saves lives!

In kinship, not dominion, each individual is seen. We do not use the rhetoric of slavery. To define animals as unique beings Guardian, Caregive, Him/Her/They… replace Owner, Own, It… Until moral equity and justice serve all — no one is free.
