Foster And/Or Adopt Today
Keep the life line moving!
Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO) has over 3,000 locations in our database
where animals have been reported hiding under porches and homes. Many are
still out there. Around corners. In sewers. On ledges. In the woods.
Each day, rescued animals are transported to the Best Friends shelter in
Tylertown, Mississippi. When the Best Friends facility is full, we have
nowhere to bring animals.
Our dedicated food/water volunteers continue to sustain animals in and
around New Orleans. But we can step up humane trapping if we have more
shelter space. Please help us keep the life line moving by opening your
heart, home or shelter to a rescued animal.

Many Gulf Coast hurricane survivors wound up in foster homes. Those
companion animals who cannot be reunited with their families will soon be up
for adoption. Shelters are already overflowing. Yet even more animals need
to be rescued. Please adopt a companion animal today. Adopting ANY animal,
even one who is not from the Gulf Coast, opens space for more hurricane
rescues! To view photos/descriptions of adoptable dogs and cats at shelters
in your area, go to http://www.1-800-Save-A-Pet.com.
