WHAT YOU CAN DO:

1.) Write to Petland, a chain with 123 outlets, urging them to no longer support inhumane puppy mills. Encourage them to advocate the adoption of healthy animals on "death row" by designating store space for local shelters and rescue groups to use as adoption centers.

2.) Boycott all pet stores that buy and sell companion animals.

3.) Spread the word. Circulate this article or other puppy mill literature. Most people have no idea where that "puppy in the window" really came from.
